If we said you could build a brand with branded merchandise you’d tell us “we’re dreamin”. But take Deliveroo – a new brand that hit the streets in 2015 in Australia and invested in striking driver jackets and high-vis insulated delivery cases which were suddenly seen everywhere! Show me a person that lives in Sydney that hasn’t seen a heavily branded Deliveroo driver….So, high visibility has resulted in great brand awareness for Deliveroo through its investment in great branded merchandise. Sure, brand building doesn’t just happen in isolation with a single marketing tactic but you must admit – this is a hell of a good example of highly visible branded merch doing its job…!
